Tara and Yuri are both passionate about storytelling and do so by any means necessary. They have acted, written and produced for stage, film, TV, animation and video games and show no signs of stopping. Tara and Yuri are also both public speakers and have even given a TEDx talk on Storytelling at UC San Diego.
As actors, writers, and producers they formed Monkey Kingdom Productions in 2004 to empower themselves in an often fickle entertainment industry. They have produced and starred in a number of feature films, television series, and short films, many of which have garnered awards.
In 2009 they created Bug Bot Press to write and publish their first book Voice-Over Voice Actor about voice acting, an area in which they are renowned. They have published five books as well as several comic books.

Sometimes called the voice-actor of a generation, Yuri traveled the world and tried a lot of things before settling down in Los Angeles to be a full-time storyteller. He’s a movie buff, a foodie and loves to help people do things.

Some of our various award-winning productions include: Con Artists, Whatta Lark, Topsy McGee VS The Sky Pirates and recently Orbital Redux for Legendary Digital. Our successful comedy series, Shelf Life and docu-travel show Up Up & Away ran for 4 seasons.
Bug Bot Press is an independent publishing company, having recently celebrated its 10th year. With two how-to books on voice-over, a noir novella, a kids book, an interactive journal, and several comic books they span genres and styles.
