Yuri Lowenthal

Yuri traveled the world and tried a lot of things before settling down in Los Angeles to be a fulltime storyteller. He came to act, but has since expanded his storytelling arsenal to include writing and producing as well, forming Monkey Kingdom Productions with his wife and partner-in-crime, Tara Platt, to create their own content. They started with Tumbling After, a feature film that they wrote and produced in three and a half weeks from start to finish of principal photography available in the store now as well as their second feature film, the mockumentary Con Artists. They also have several short films on the festival circuit, and an award-winning webseries, Shelf Life which you can watch in part at ShelfLifeSeries.com or in its entirety on the Shelf Life app available in the iTunes store.

He wrote the 8th episode of Season 8 of the hit Cartoon Network show, Ben 10: Omniverse, entitled “The World’s Most Dangerous Game Show,” a book on voice acting with Tara called Voice-Over Voice Actor, a crimedy noirvella with writing partner Keith Ikeda-Barry entitled Tough City, and has several other properties in various stages of development, both with MKP and outside production companies. Would you have seen him in anything? It’s possible. He’s been on TV and in films, most notably a short run on FOX’s Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, but it’s more likely you’ve heard him in commercials, games and on shows like The Prince Of Persia, Ben 10, Legion Of Superheroes, Young Justice, Afro Samurai, Sunset Overdrive and more. He’s a movie buff and a foodie and loves to help people do things.
