Monkey Mayhem is our hub
Tara Platt and Yuri Lowenthal are each respected storytellers as actors on stage, film, and behind the mic with a combined thousand-plus credits on the IMDb. They are both also talented writers and producers, so, when not being hired by outside TV, film, animation, and video game productions they make their own.
Monkey Kingdom Productions, their production company, was formed in 2004. MKP has produced a roster of feature films, television series, theatrical productions and short films.
Bug Bot Press is their publishing company, created in 2009. BBP has published five books and several comic books.

Tara Platt
Actress, author and entrepreneur, Tara is passionate about world-building. Her books feature vivid locations and characters within beautiful aesthetics . On stage and screen her characters come to life through wonderment and play. In the real world, she is a student of life and is MKP and BBP’s CFO.
Yuri Lowenthal
It all begins with a spark of imagination. As an actor, writer and producer, Yuri dives into the story behind the character to flesh out the truths. He loves finding the nugget of playfulness within the humanity of the role to bring the story to life. A lover of sci-fi, DnD, noir and myth, his works come alive with word-play within the vivid worlds.
